Sales & business development
Representatives, account leaders, founders, and distributors looking for qualified, proximate demand.
Commerce · Research · Science · Worldwide
A global membership network that brings the whole of working life together on equal terms: commercial teams, skilled trades and front-line workers, engineers and scientists, the professions, researchers and academics, and a worldwide community of investors, alongside the buyers, vendors, and customers they serve. Mapped by location, field, and function, and classified by jurisdiction or industrial taxonomy, it opens cross-border business across every STEM and non-STEM field, profession, and trade. Access runs on permission-based equity: every member meets as a peer, and you decide what you share and with whom. A lower-cost alternative to expos and conferences.
Kalman | Commons⁺ is now forming. Founding members join at the one-time US$150 (no subscriptions, no renewals, non-refundable) and help shape the network from the first table. No discounts and no tiers, just an early place among people who mean it.
Good work begins with the right introduction. Kalman | Commons⁺ maps its members, in commerce, research, and science alike, by geolocation, field, and function, from sales and procurement to research and development and design cost centres, and across academic, scientific, and professional disciplines, so members can find one another in order of proximity and relevance, anywhere in the world.
Who joins
Membership is built for the people who move work forward, whether the authority or the expertise to act is what matters.
Representatives, account leaders, founders, and distributors looking for qualified, proximate demand.
Buyers, category managers, and supply-chain leaders looking for capable, vetted supply.
Research and development, design, and engineering teams seeking partners, suppliers, and collaborators.
Scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and clinicians in industry, research institutes, and academia.
Law, economics, finance, medicine, literature, and the performing arts, across STEM and non-STEM fields alike.
Investors of all classifications: angel, venture, private equity, institutional, family office, corporate, and sovereign, finding founders, ventures, and co-investors.
We prioritise members who can recommend, decide, hold budget, or bring the expertise that makes an introduction lead somewhere.
Why join
A trade show reaches one room for a few days, at a high price. A membership reaches the right counterparts year-round, for one flat fee.
Meet buyers, vendors, and customers without flights, hotels, or days away from the business.
Skip exhibitor stands, booth build, and attendance or registration costs.
Your profile does the work, found by relevance and proximity, not by ad budget.
The network is always on, not a once-a-year event you either attend or miss.
Network first, then choose how to meet: at a gathering, or one to one.
US$150 once, worldwide. Compare that to a single conference ticket.
How the network works
Each member is placed by country, jurisdiction, and city, so connections surface in order of proximity.
Members are organised by sovereign jurisdiction (national, then regional) for lawful, relevant introductions.
A curated taxonomy spanning STEM and non-STEM industries, the sciences, research, and academia makes field-to-field matching precise.
Function and capacity, from sales and procurement to research and development and design, sit alongside authority and expertise as first-class attributes.
Relevant members are ranked by closeness: geographic, sectoral, and functional.
Members are civil professionals, age-verified (25+), meeting under a shared code of conduct.
The flow
Members qualify one another; the operator does not decide who belongs. A qualified member has a verified profile, is aged 25 and above, and holds a private credential. This is what happens next. It is a case view of the flow, not a manual and not a description of the system.
Both sides qualify and enter the same flow: providers (vendors, researchers, designers, scientists, and creators) and clients (buyers, institutions, funders, investors, and research and design cost centres). Nothing is brokered; qualified members reach one another directly.
Administration and audit. Membership is overseen by an administrator. Private discussions are visible to the administrator for auditing and integrity purposes only, never for the disclosure of private communication. The administrator may take part in commercially sensitive discussion in private dialogue, and cooperating instances of the network may work together on commercial ventures.
Membership
A single lifetime membership of US$150, one flat fee worldwide, the same in every nation, billed in US dollars.
A mapped place in the network by location, industry, function, and authority; proximity-ranked introductions; and a civil, lawful community of serious counterparts.
US$150, once: one flat fee for every member worldwide. No subscriptions, no tiers, no upsell.
Beyond the transaction
Kalman | Commons⁺ is more than a directory. Members share an inclusive professional culture: honest dialogue, local arts, and, where lawful, adult-only, and entirely optional, the occasional fellowship of a fine cigar. It is never the point, never promoted, and never required, simply one of the human textures of good company. The community is alcohol-free and built on respect.
Convened by Kalman | Systems⁺
Kalman | Commons⁺ is founded and stewarded by Kalman | Systems⁺, a systems and engineering practice that builds disciplined, privacy-preserving platforms.
