Kalman | Commons⁺ exists to connect counterparts who need one another, precisely, lawfully, and in order of proximity: buyers with sellers, and the wider research and scientific communities with the partners, funders, and institutions they work alongside. It maps its members across the world and classifies them by jurisdiction and field so that an introduction is relevant before it is ever made.

By jurisdiction, then field
Members are first classified by sovereign jurisdiction (national, then regional) because lawful, relevant work respects local rules. Within and across jurisdictions, the field taxonomy connects field to field, across STEM and non-STEM industries and the sciences, research, and academia. The network begins globally and deepens jurisdiction by jurisdiction as membership grows.

We exist for
Honest introductions, ethical commerce, professional respect, and participation over profit. Members are civil adults, age-verified at 25 and above.
We do not exist for
Spam, aggressive selling, data resale, luxury gatekeeping, or alcohol-centred networking. Gatherings, where they happen, are alcohol-free.
Administration & audit
Overseen for integrity, never for disclosure
Members qualify one another; the operator does not decide who belongs. Membership is overseen by an administrator whose role is integrity and good order, not gatekeeping.
Audited, not disclosed
Private discussions are visible to the administrator for auditing and integrity purposes only, never for the disclosure of private communication.
Commercial participation
The administrator may take part in commercially sensitive discussion in private dialogue, and cooperating instances of the network may work together on commercial ventures.

Beyond introductions, Kalman | Commons⁺ is a community. Members gather for honest dialogue and local arts, and (where lawful, adult-only, and entirely optional) share the occasional fellowship of a fine cigar as one small texture of good company. It is inclusive, never required, and never the point.
A note on compliance: Kalman | Commons⁺ does not sell, supply, advertise, or promote tobacco. Any optional cigar appreciation is lawful, adult-only (25+), venue-approved, and handled directly by independently licensed retailers based only on dereferenced, aggregate interest, never individual data, never a marketed product.
