Writers & poets
Short readings, spoken word, and storytelling.
Artists & Culture
Artists are part of the community. A poem, a song, a short reading, or a sketch can do more for a room of strangers than any agenda. Cultural contributions support conversation — they don't dominate the evening.
Who's welcome
Short readings, spoken word, and storytelling.
Acoustic musicians, instrumentalists, and singers.
Cultural historians and thoughtful speakers.
Sketch artists, painters, photographers, and designers.
Practical boundaries
Performances and any amplification require venue approval, arranged in advance.
Contributions are sized to support the conversation, not to replace it.
Artists may be supported through donations, a stipend, or a community fund — never expected to perform for free as a default.
The same code of conduct applies: alcohol-free, 25+, civility, and no tobacco promotion.
