A compliant supply pathway
This page explains, for licensed tobacco retailers, how lawful and optional cigar supply can relate to Kalman Commons gatherings. It is an operational and compliance document — not advertising, and not a catalogue.
Important notice
What this is — and is not
Kalman does not sell, supply, advertise, or promote tobacco products. Kalman Commons is a business and cultural community. Cigars are an optional, adult-only ritual that some members may choose, and any supply is handled directly by an independently licensed retailer.
This page contains no brands, no products, no prices, and no inducements. It is intended only to inform licensed retailers of a lawful, aggregate-demand operating model. Nothing here should be read as encouragement to use tobacco. Smoking is harmful to health.
Participation is limited to adults aged 25 and above, with age verification. Supply must comply with all applicable Commonwealth, state, and territory law, including the Tobacco Advertising Prohibition Act 1992 (Cth) and relevant state public-health legislation.
How supply relates to the community
Aggregate demand, not consumer data
The community never becomes the seller or promoter. It only ever shares dereferenced, aggregate demand — never individual consumer profiles.
2 · System dereferences
The system produces a dereferenced demand report — counts and bands only, with no names, contacts, or individual choices.
3 · Retailer receives aggregate only
The licensed retailer receives only the aggregate demand report and handles lawful supply directly with adults.
4 · BYO remains permitted
Members may bring their own where the venue permits. No one is required to buy from anyone.
A demand report contains only figures such as: expected attendees, likely interested adults, demand bands, BYO count, and a typical budget band — never individual identities or preferences.
Supply principles
The conditions of participation
Optional, never mandatory
Cigars remain optional. Members are never required to buy from a venue, retailer, or sponsor.
No promotion
Retailers do not advertise, promote, brand, or display tobacco at or through the community. No tobacco business may be promoted.
Adult-only, 25+
Any supply is to verified adults aged 25 and above, in lawful, venue-approved settings only.
Retailer-direct
The retailer is responsible for lawful sale, record-keeping, and compliance. Kalman is not a party to the sale.
Privacy-preserving
No vendor or venue receives individual consumer profiles — only aggregate, dereferenced demand.
Lawful everywhere
Supply occurs only where it is lawful in the relevant jurisdiction, and stops where it is not.

For licensed retailers who wish to be considered for lawful, retailer-direct supply based on aggregate demand. We will verify licensing and confirm the no-promotion conditions before any arrangement.
